Dr. Luis M Fandos

Born in Rosario, Argentina, Dr. Fandos came to the United States in 1993. He attended a residency program at Mount Sinai School of Medicine and graduated in 1997. He then completed a fellowship in interventional pain management at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital, part of the prestigious Columbia University. He subsequently pursued a neuropathic pain fellowship at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City. He is currently a physician leader at New York Spine and Pain Physicians in Bay Shore, New York.

In addition, he is the director of the Division of Pain Medicine at South Shore University Hospital in Bay Shore, New York. He was also recently appointed as Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. Dr. Fandos has made significant contributions to his field by training resident physicians and lecturing in the United States and abroad. His motivation to be at the top of his field has enabled his patients to benefit from cutting-edge procedures. As a result, he has helped countless patients with a wide range of pain syndromes that would have otherwise suffered from chronic debilitating pain. Dr. Fandos is thrilled with the possibility of making a difference in someone’s life by mitigating pain.

However, he has always felt he could do more for his patients.  When Dr. Fandos discovered the world of cellular medicine, he was immediately drawn to its potential. Utilizing genetic testing, peptide therapy, IV therapies, hormonal replacement therapy, diet and nutrition supplementation,  he is able to design a personalized wellness program specific to each patient. This can only be addressed by targeting specific cellular pathways that are responsible for many disease processes. Dr. Fandos has been very passionate about this new intriguing field that has improved the lives of so many patients. He is currently involved with the Seeds Scientific Research & Performance Institute where he takes part in many scientific programs along with other renowned leaders in the field of cellular medicine. Dr. Fandos is committed to providing his patients with the highest level of care.
