Dr. Luis Fandos

Functional Medicine Specialist

With over 25 years of experience, Dr. Luis Fandos, MD, ABAPM, is a distinguished physician specializing in interventional pain management. A native of Rosario, Argentina, Dr. Fandos moved to the United States in 1993. He completed his residency at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in 1997, followed by a fellowship in interventional pain management at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital, Columbia University. He further honed his expertise with a neuropathic pain fellowship at Beth Israel Medical Center, New York City.

Dr. Fandos is a physician leader at New York Spine and Pain Physicians in Bay Shore, New York. He is also the director of the Division of Pain Medicine at South Shore University Hospital in Bay Shore and was recently appointed Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. His commitment to education and innovation in pain management is evident through his contributions to training resident physicians and his lectures in the U.S. and internationally.

Driven to offer more to his patients, Dr. Fandos ventured into cellular medicine. He employs genetic testing, peptide therapy, IV therapies, hormonal replacement therapy, diet, and nutrition supplementation to craft personalized wellness programs. These programs target specific cellular pathways, addressing the root causes of various diseases. His passion for this evolving field is reflected in his involvement with the Seeds Scientific Research & Performance Institute, where he collaborates with other experts in cellular medicine.

Pina Prainito

Nutrigenomics Specialist & Functional Nutritional Counselor

Pina Prainito is a renowned functional nutritional counselor board-certified by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners. With her expertise in personalized nutrition and lifestyle modifications, she guides clients toward improved health, using a functional medicine approach to identify and address underlying imbalances or deficiencies. Her strategies include natural therapies to optimize bodily functions and prevent chronic diseases.

Holding a Bachelor's degree from Hofstra University (1999) and a Master's from SUNY Stony Brook (2001), Pina has over 25 years of experience in education. Her journey into functional nutrition stemmed from a passion for teaching and learning, focusing on the pivotal role of nutrients in health maintenance, disease prevention, and supporting the body's natural healing processes. She emphasizes a personalized health approach, considering each individual's unique biochemistry, genetics, medical history, and lifestyle.

As a researcher and authority in functional nutrigenomics, Pina has conducted in-depth research on how nutrients interact with gene expression, particularly their impact on dietary patterns and treatment. Through genetic testing, she has aided numerous clients in overcoming anxiety and depression. Pina is an ambassador for Regenerating Health, The Tic-Disorder Institute, advocating for families and children affected by Tics and Tourette’s Syndrome.

Pina extends her expertise beyond counseling, teaching functional nutrition principles, guiding clients in mindful and intuitive eating, and the interplay between nutrition and mental health. Employing a diverse range of teaching methods, including lectures, discussions, case studies, and hands-on activities, she equips clients with the knowledge and tools to implement functional nutrition principles in their daily lives. Her goal is to inspire clients to achieve optimal health and vibrance, maintain motivation, and realize their health goals.

Faisal Mahmood Malik, DNP

Faisal Mahmood Malik is a highly skilled and dedicated Nurse Practitioner with over 11 years of experience in pain management and regenerative aesthetics. Graduating from New York University School of Medicine in 2013, Faisal had branched out and practiced in multiple settings such as ICU, community health, and hospital pain management; before finally discovering his love of aesthetics.

Before joining Alluring Age, Faisal provided concierge services including IV infusions, neuromodulation utilizing Botox/Dysport/Daxxify, Facial Fillers, Micro and nano needling, and hair regeneration.

His extensive experience has instilled a great degree of trust in his patients who trust his aesthetic recommendations.

With a keen eye for detail and a dedication to staying at the forefront of medical advancements, Faisal combines the latest techniques with a patient-centered approach.

Since joining Alluring Age, Faisal has utilized regeneative medicine consisting of exosomes, peptides, and PRP/PRFM to provide naturally appearing aesthetic outcomes. He specializes in using microneedling radio frequency along with Fotona laser to provide patients with a natural, youthful appearance.

His implementation of our hair restoration protocol has provided patients suffering with hair loss from chronic diseases a new found self-confidence

Faisal is affiliated with several hospitals, including Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center, South Shore University Medical Center and White Plain Hospital. He cooperates with other healthcare professionals in medical groups such as New York Pain Consultants LLC.
