NAD+ Therapy on Long Island
NAD+ is a coenzyme every cell uses to produce energy and carry out repair, and levels decline with age. Restoring it is one of the more interesting areas in longevity medicine, and also one where the marketing has run ahead of the science.
The Cellular Fuel That Powers Every System in Your Body
What it is
NAD+ (Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide) is a coenzyme found in every cell of the body that is essential for energy production, DNA repair, and the regulation of biological processes that govern aging and cellular health. NAD+ levels decline significantly with age, and this decline is now recognized as one of the primary drivers of age-related deterioration in energy, cognition, metabolism, and overall cellular function. Replenishing NAD+ through therapy is one of the most impactful and evidence-backed interventions in longevity medicine today.
Is this right for you
Who this is for, and who it isn't.
Worth a conversation if
- Persistent fatigue where the standard workup has been unremarkable
- Mental fog, or a noticeable drop in focus and clarity
- Recovery from sustained physical or cognitive demand
- You are already on a longevity plan here and this fits it
- You want to understand the evidence properly before spending on it
Not the right fit if
- Anyone hoping it will treat a diagnosed condition. NAD+ is not an approved treatment for any disease, and it should not be presented as one.
- Anyone unwilling to sit for a long appointment. NAD+ has to be infused slowly, and this is the most common reason people are unhappy with it.
- Patients who have not had persistent fatigue investigated. Thyroid disease, anaemia and sleep apnoea all cause exactly these symptoms and are all treatable.
What to expect
From first call to settled plan.
Consultation
Your symptoms, what has already been ruled out, and an honest conversation about what NAD+ is and is not likely to do for you.
Dose and pace
NAD+ is started slowly and the rate is adjusted to your comfort. This is the whole art of administering it well, and rushing it is what makes the experience unpleasant.
The infusion
A long appointment. You are monitored, and the rate is slowed if you feel the tightness or flushing NAD+ can cause. Speak up; the rate is meant to be adjusted.
Review
Whether it did anything useful for you, honestly assessed, before committing to more. A series is common, but it should be a decision rather than a default.
How long it takes
Some patients report mental clarity and energy within a day or two of an infusion; others notice nothing meaningful, and both are common enough to be worth stating plainly. Where it helps, effects are generally described as building over a series. It is reasonable to try it and reasonable to stop if it does nothing for you.
How it's priced
Pricing is set at consultation rather than published as a flat rate, because the plan is built from your labs, your history and your goals rather than a menu. You will have the full cost in writing before anything is scheduled, and there is no obligation to proceed. Cherry financing is available and can be applied for in a few minutes.

NAD+ Therapy, answered honestly.
What does an NAD+ infusion feel like?
Infused too quickly it commonly causes chest tightness, flushing, nausea or a wave of unpleasant intensity. Infused slowly it is usually well tolerated. This is why the appointment is long and why you should tell the person administering it the moment you feel it, so the rate can be dropped. It is expected, not an emergency.
Why does it take so long?
Because the rate is what determines whether it is comfortable. There is no way to compress it meaningfully without a worse experience, so plan the appointment properly rather than fitting it into a lunch break.
Is there good evidence for NAD+?
The underlying biology is genuinely interesting and well studied: NAD+ is central to cellular energy and repair, and levels fall with age. The evidence that infusing it produces specific clinical outcomes in humans is much thinner than the marketing suggests. It is a reasonable thing to try with clear expectations, and not something to be sold as proven.
IV or injection. Which is better?
Infusion delivers a larger amount in one session; subcutaneous injection is quicker, easier to repeat and generally more comfortable. Which suits you depends on your goals and how much time you can give it, and it is a genuine choice rather than a fixed protocol.
How does NAD+ differ from an NAD precursor supplement?
Precursor supplements such as NR and NMN are taken orally and rely on your body converting them. Infusion delivers NAD+ directly. Both approaches have advocates, and the comparative evidence is not settled. Cost and convenience differ substantially, which is a fair part of the decision.
How often would I have it?
Often an initial series and then occasional maintenance, but this should follow from whether it is actually helping you rather than a schedule set in advance. If a first course does nothing, the honest recommendation is to stop.
