Microneedling on Long Island
Microneedling creates controlled micro-channels that prompt your skin to produce collagen, and those same channels let what is applied afterwards reach far deeper than it otherwise could. What goes on top is the variable.
Deep Hydration Delivered Where Your Skin Needs It Most
What it is
Microneedling with hyaluronic acid combines the skin-renewing power of controlled micro-injury with the deep hydrating benefits of one of skincare's most effective molecules. Tiny microchannels created during treatment allow hyaluronic acid to penetrate far beyond the surface, boosting moisture retention deep within the skin, smoothing texture and reducing the appearance of fine lines, enhancing overall radiance and glow, and supporting the skin's natural renewal process from within.
Why it matters
Hyaluronic acid applied to the surface of the skin can only do so much. When delivered through microchannels directly into the deeper layers of the dermis, its impact is exponentially greater. This treatment does not just hydrate; it fundamentally improves the skin's capacity to retain moisture, respond to environmental stressors, and maintain a smoother, more luminous appearance over time. For anyone looking to restore suppleness, reduce dullness, and achieve a lasting improvement in skin quality, this is one of the most effective and accessible options available.
Is this right for you
Who this is for, and who it isn't.
Worth a conversation if
- Dull tone, rough texture or visible pores
- Fine lines and early loss of firmness
- Mild acne scarring
- Dehydrated skin that products alone are not fixing
- You want a treatment with real effect but limited downtime
Not the right fit if
- Anyone with an active breakout, cold sore or infection in the area. Needling over active acne can spread it.
- Patients with a history of keloid scarring.
- Anyone pregnant, or recently on isotretinoin, without physician review.
- Anyone expecting the tightening RF microneedling gives. Needling alone stimulates collagen but does not deliver energy into the deeper tissue, and it is a gentler result.
What to expect
From first call to settled plan.
Consultation
What you are treating and which pairing suits it. Hyaluronic acid is the hydration and plumping route; PRF or PRP uses your own growth factors and adds a blood draw to the appointment.
Numbing
Topical anaesthetic is applied and given time to work, which makes the treatment comfortable.
The treatment
The device passes over the skin at a depth set for the area, with the chosen serum worked in as it goes so it reaches through the channels rather than sitting on the surface.
Aftercare and series
Clear rules on products, makeup and sun for the following days. Microneedling is a series treatment, and the number of sessions is agreed up front.
How long it takes
Expect redness like a moderate sunburn for a day or two, and often a glow once that settles. The immediate plumping from hyaluronic acid is hydration rather than collagen. The collagen response builds over several weeks and continues across a series, so the meaningful assessment is weeks after the last session rather than days after the first.
How it's priced
Pricing is set at consultation rather than published as a flat rate, because the plan is built from your labs, your history and your goals rather than a menu. You will have the full cost in writing before anything is scheduled, and there is no obligation to proceed. Cherry financing is available and can be applied for in a few minutes.

Microneedling, answered honestly.
Microneedling with HA or with PRP. Which is better?
They do different things. Hyaluronic acid delivers intense hydration and immediate plumping, and suits dull, dehydrated or textured skin. PRP and PRF use growth factors from your own blood and lean towards repair and regeneration, which tends to suit scarring and more advanced ageing. PRP adds a blood draw to the appointment and costs more. Neither is universally better.
How is this different from a derma roller at home?
Depth, sterility and control. Professional devices reach a depth home rollers cannot and are used at settings chosen for the area, in a clinical setting with sterile technique. Home rolling over active acne, or with a device that is not properly cleaned, is a genuine route to infection and scarring.
Is there much downtime?
Less than RF microneedling. Redness for a day or two is typical, sometimes with mild flaking afterwards. Most people return to normal activity immediately and can wear makeup after the interval given in your aftercare.
How many sessions will I need?
A series spaced several weeks apart, because collagen needs time to respond between treatments. The exact number depends on what you are treating; scarring needs more than general texture. Many patients then move to occasional maintenance.
Does it hurt?
With topical numbing applied properly, most people find it very tolerable and describe vibration and light scratching rather than pain. Bonier areas are the most sensitive.
Should I be doing this or RF microneedling?
If your concern is texture, tone, pores and fine lines, microneedling is often the proportionate choice. If it is laxity and tightening, RF is the treatment that actually addresses it. Being pointed towards the cheaper of the two when it is the right one is what you should expect from an assessment.
